Beasy was engaged by NSW Public works to undertake a school-wide friable asbestos removal from within the ceiling cavities of classrooms. Non-friable asbestos material was also removed such as ceiling eaves.

Friable asbestos containing insulation material was uncovered during the National BER Project within various school  buildings at Warilla North Public School. Beasy set up scaffolds and encapsulated areas using 200μm plastic sheeting and conducted the detailed friable asbestos removal that followed.

The project being friable in nature, the entire school was closed down for the entire duration of the works.
