Numerous times Beasy was engaged by John Holland to undertake demolition, asbestos removal and supervision at the Clyde train maintenance facility.

The scope of works involved of the following:

  • pile cap trimming works
  • sheds demolition
  • concrete and rubbish stockpiled waste removal
  • chimney demolitions
  • demolition of gantry crane structure including concrete slab, and machinery plinths,
  • demolition of 2000L underground liquid storage tank
  • demolition of weigh bridge
  • 6900m3 bulk excavations of general solid waste
  • retention tank excavation
  • soil relocation and compaction works
  • sieving of stockpiles
  • friable asbestos contaminated soils removal
  • Atlantic Cell AC pipe and soil removal
  • asbestos specialist worker sparrow picking works
