Beasy was engaged by the client to conduct the removal of non-friable asbestos cement sheeting to the roof & associated replacement works. The staged project involved:

• Removal of corrugated asbestos cement roof sheeting
• Removal of residual dust inaccessible from the roof
• Removal of lead flashing
• HEPA vacuum works inside the warehouse and wet wiping of steel roofing structure
• PVA spray works
• Covering items, plant, and machinery within the warehouse with plastic sheeting
• Removal and installation of a new safety mesh
• Supply and installation of 4 new box gutters and downpipes
• Supply and installation of a new ridge caps, barge flashings, and gutter flashings
• Supply and installation of new roof sheeting
• Supply and installation of ‘whirlybird’ vents
