Bret Baker of Beasy Pty Ltd managed the demolition of the William St. overpass in Perth’s CBD.

Works involved:

• the demolition of a two (2) – way post-tensioned concrete bridge
• the demolition of attached steel box section bus ramp, abutments, pile caps and caisson

Mechanical plant equipment used to carry out the works included 5t, 20t, 45t, and 70t excavators.

All waste materials from the demolition of the bridge was recycled and reused for other construction projects.
