Beasy were engaged by the client to demolish a concrete structure within immediate vicinity of a live open air substation supplying electricity to the Parramatta region. Specialist demolition attachments and specific engineered methodology was used to ensure all demolition works were conducted without disrupting the live substation.

During demolition works Beasy encountered asbestos sheeting within the concrete roof of the structure, requiring additional precautionary measures to be undertaken.
